What type of driver's license do I need?
For all our vehicles, a European category B driving licence is sufficient.
The licence must be valid and legible, and issued within the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland.

You may only drive the vehicle if you have not been disqualified from driving in the past 5 years.
What is the minimum age to rent a vehicle?
Anyone with a valid category B driving licence can rent a vehicle from us, regardless of age.
Are you under 23 years old? You can still rent, but in case of an accident where you are at fault, a higher excess of €1,500 applies for third-party damages instead of the standard €500.
Are there costs for an additional driver?
No, there are no extra charges for an additional driver.
Please note: only the main driver is registered on the rental agreement.
Other drivers may operate the vehicle, provided they meet the same conditions as the main driver (e.g. valid driving licence, not disqualified from driving in the past 5 years, etc.).
