Payment and deposit

If you have a question about your car rental, you will probably find the answer to your question below. If you couldn’t find an answer to your question, please don’t hesitate to fill in our contact form or contact one of our pick-up locations.

What are the payment options?

When picking up the vehicle, you can pay using: 
  • Bancontact
  • Credit card (Mastercard or Visa)
  • Cash (within the legally allowed limit)

The security deposit and any applicable advance payment are preferably settled at that time.
 
The final invoice is preferably paid by bank transfer, but can also be paid on-site with Bancontact or credit card.
 
Please note: the cardholder must be present when paying with a credit card.

Can I pay with a credit card?

Yes, you can pay with a Mastercard or Visa credit card. American Express (Amex) is not accepted.
 
Please note that the cardholder must be present at the time of payment. 
Credit cards can be used to pay the deposit, advance payment, and the final invoice (if paid on site). 

When will you receive the final invoice?

If the vehicle is returned during opening hours, it will be inspected for damage, mileage and fuel level.
 Based on this check, the final invoice will be prepared and sent to you by email afterwards. 

If you return the vehicle outside opening hours, the inspection takes place on the next working day and the invoice is sent afterwards. 

Please note: if the vehicle is not returned clean, any damage may only be identified after cleaning and will be included in the final invoice. 

When will I receive an invoice?

You will receive an invoice by email for every rental, no later than a few working days after the vehicle is returned

Would you like the invoice to be issued in the name of a company?
Please provide the correct billing address and VAT number in advance, preferably when making the reservation or at vehicle pick-up. 

Does a deposit have to be paid?

Yes, a security deposit is required for every rental. 
The amount of the deposit depends on the type of vehicle. It is paid upon pick-up and can be settled by debit card, credit card, or cash (within the legal limit). 

When and how is the deposit refunded?

The security deposit is settled with the final rental invoice.
Any remaining balance is refunded upon issuance of the final invoice, via bank transfer to the customer’s account. 
Refunds are made exclusively via bank transfer, regardless of how the deposit was originally paid. 

Is an advance payment required when booking?

In most cases, a reservation is non-binding and does not require an advance payment

For certain vehicle types (such as minibuses or vehicles with more than 5 seats), an advance of up to €200 may be requested. Once the advance is paid, the reservation is considered final.
