Low Emission Zones and Environmental Stickers

Can I drive the vehicle into a low-emission zone (LEZ)?

That depends on the city and the type of vehicle. 
All vehicles at Autoverhuur Meerschaert are modern and well-maintained, which means they are generally accepted in most low-emission zones in Belgium and abroad. 
Please note: 
  • Each city or region may have its own conditions.
  • It is the renter’s responsibility to verify whether the vehicle is allowed in the local LEZ.

Is the Crit’Air environmental sticker for France included?

Yes, the Crit’Air sticker for France is standard on all our vehicles. You don’t need to take any action yourself. 

Thanks to this sticker, you can drive worry-free in French cities with environmental zones, such as Paris, Lyon, Grenoble, and Lille. 

Is the environmental sticker for Germany included?

A selection of our vehicles comes with the German environmental sticker (Umweltplakette) already included.
 This applies to: 
  • Our minibuses
  • The Peugeot Rifter
  • Our wheelchair-accessible vehicles
  • The Peugeot 3008 and Peugeot 5008

For other vehicles, the Umweltplakette is not included by default.
